Who Are You?
In the United States of America, we are able to make it to our dreams. Outside of many of the countries that are well off and have the infrastructure to support and care for their citizens, are countries and people that cannot. Nor may these poorer peoples defend themselves from oppression, manipulation, or violence.
To stray from the safety of what has always been considered the way and forge ones own path is often frowned upon by the people who love you. Instead of conforming to these things which keep you from progress, from your potential for great happiness and success.

Witnessing the social network that makes up our national team choose materialism and plastic faces to the values of family, friendship, respect, trust, and love, amazes me and I am bewildered.
Life here has been a blessing, even through all my experience. Despite the failed partnerships and relationships. The heartbreak and the emothional damage and insecurities in a stable or positive future. I stand up and choose to take more steps forward. Towards the dream that is mine to obtain.
